Every client has an individual personalized plan. As part of the intake paperwork, a schedule can be made for the number of hours per week that best fits the needs for you and your loved one.
The hourly rates for daytime (7am – 5pm) week day are $55/hour.
The hourly rates for evening (after 5pm) week day and weekends are $70/hour.
Yes, there is a mileage charge of $0.70/mile if the client lives more than five miles from Pioneer Park in Stillwater, MN. There is also a mileage charge if Spotted Horse Companion Care is transporting goods for the client or transporting the client.
The hourly rate for vacuuming and dishes is $55/hour. Depending on the amount of cleaning to be done would dictate the amount charged. Spotted Horse Companion Care does not clean bathrooms.
The hourly rate during the weekday is $55/hour. The hourly rate during the weekend is $70/hour. There is also a mileage charge of $0.70 per mile.
Yes, there is a discounted hourly rate for couples.
Spotted Horse Companion Care sends invoices after visits to be paid by check or cash. Outstanding bills must be paid prior to receiving more care.
Spotted Horse Companion Care will soak, dry, trim and file nails on both hands and feet. Nails can also be painted for an extra charge, or if the client supplies the nail polish. Clients with diabetes will not be offered nail care.
Yes, the Companion dog, Dakota, is very good around people of all ages. He is rarely vocal, does not jump, and stays off furniture unless invited. Dakota is a favorite of many.
Spotted Horse Companion Care is focused on serving the elderly community but is available to serve clients of all ages.
Spotted Horse Companion Care will not assist in moving people who weight more than 40 pounds.
The number of consecutive hours an employee from Spotted Horse Companion Care can be with a client is four. At that time the employee will have a 30 minute break. The number of hours per day for any employee with a client should not be more than eight hours.
Overnights can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
Yes, if the client would like to go out for a meal, the client would pay for the meals, parking, and any other fees that may be accrued during the outing. The client would be billed for the hourly rate. Spotted Horse Companion Care will not pay for meals and then send an invoice for the meal and activities of the evening.
Spotted Horse Companion Care will attend concerts, plays, musicals, meals, weddings, dances, family gatherings, movies, fundraisers, sporting events, and community events in the evening as well as in the day time with clients. Standard rates apply and the client is to pay for entry for all parties attending.
Gutters and windows can be cleaned by Spotted Horse Companion Care at the regular rates and if the windows and gutters are reachable by a six-foot ladder. Tasks with heights taller than a six-foot ladder will not be performed by Spotted Horse Companion Care.
Yes, Spotted Horse Companion Care does some yardwork. This task is $55/hour weekdays and $70/hour weekends and evenings.
Yes, Spotted Horse Companion Care will go shopping for clients, with clients, or do online shopping for clients, whichever best fits the needs of the client.
Yes, you still must pay full price. It is recommended that you have a list of things you would like Spotted Horse Companion Care to do if a client is asleep during part of the visit.
If you cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled visit, there is no fee. If you cancel after the 48-hour window up to one hour prior to the visit, there is a charge of 50% of the scheduled fee. If the cancellation is within the hour window of the scheduled visit, the client is charged the full payment.
Yes, Spotted Horse Companion Care can and will drive to appointments, wait with the client, and bring the client back to their home.
No, Spotted Horse Companion Care does not toilet or bathe clients, unless the client is under the age of five.
The hourly rate applies for a visit with Dakota, as there will be a Spotted Horse Companion Care employee with the dog Dakota.
